Mizata is a small coastal town located in the department of La Libertad, about 1 hour and 30 minutes from El Salvador International Airport.
Surrounded by tropical jungle and a long stretch of sand, stones and Caribbean-style palm trees, the area offers three surf spots with different types of waves, as well as calm areas for swimming and sunbathing.
From the beach, you can enjoy both sunrise and sunset, and if you’re lucky, you may even witness sea turtles nesting during the season.
